Our national parks are wild yet carefully managed places. Located in every province and territory in Canada, they offer a breath-taking diversity of geology, landforms, vegetation, wildlife and history. Together they offer a representative – and forever protected – sample of Canada’s distinct natural ecozones.

Within these parks, wardens are tasked with the important but difficult role of identifying, understanding and maintaining a park's natural and historical uniqueness. They must do this while keeping the parks safe and accessible to all visitors.
