Canada’s
largest ecozone, the heavily forested Boreal Shield is
almost 4000 kilometres wide, stretching across five provinces,
from northern Saskatchewan in the west to Newfoundland
in the east. Pukaskwa, Georgian Bay Islands, La Mauricie,
Gros Morne and Terra Nova National Parks are located in
the ecozone. |
